Class Description:    

A classroom study of the basic theory and methods associated with casting, forming, metal working, plastics processing, and joining processes.  Students are also introduced to the functions performed by a variety of machine tools employed by the modern manufacturing community.  GMP is a basic first course for mechanical and other engineering students.  Fall and Spring annually.
